Ms. Lily Rubio
I am an educator with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Early Childhood Education and extensive experience in a variety of educational settings. Throughout my career, I have served as a Montessori educator, administrator, director, special education teacher, ballet instructor, artist, and instructor of visual arts theory and history, with a specialized focus on brain development in children.
My passion is helping children discover the joy of learning through creativity, exploration, and meaningful experiences. I strive to engage and enrich every child’s development by nurturing their unique abilities in a supportive and inspiring environment. My goal is to motivate students to embrace their educational journey with knowledge, integrity, confidence, and a lifelong love of learning—all while having fun along the way.
Ms. Jessica Miller
As an art educator with over 20 years in public and private schools, I am thrilled to join the Walden Pond experience, especially teaching the Older Kid’s Class! My passion for teaching art began while student-teaching in Mexico and has blossomed into a beautiful calling that gives me great joy. I received a BS in Interdisciplinary Studies with a minor in Art while receiving a Texas teaching certification for grades K-8. When I’m not teaching or creating art, you can find me working in my garden with my husband, our daughter and 3 dogs.
